This has been my favorite week so far of my college career. I’m working full-time, taking 9 credits in school and trying to set goals and start my cinnamon roll business. I’ve been second guessing my school load and the time that my kids aren’t getting with me. My Intro to Entrepreneur class assignment this week was to ponder and find my core values, number them in order, and write a statement for each one. This assignment brought so much clarity for me at a time I needed it. I realized that I needed to bring my Heavenly Parents into my business. I had kept them just outside. I created statements with authority involving what I will and won’t do in my life. I feel such strong conviction in the core values I have decided upon and what a perfect time to have created them, at the beginning of my business.
I had another experience this week. I have been working hard to come up with my company name. I wanted a name that I could be passionate about and would be able to grow with my business and be easily recognizable so as not to require as much money to be spent on brand recognition. When I invited the spirit to join me in the process, did the work that needed to be done and asked for the help I needed—the perfect name arrived. It had many applicable meanings and I bought the domain. Since then the spirit has shown me a few more meanings to the name that have truly blown my mind. I had never supposed that the spirit could be so involved in my everyday business decision. I’m looking forward to learning even more throughout this journey.
I’m looking forward to all the becoming and as Ghandi said, “Your
beliefs become your thoughts, your thoughts become your works, your works become
your actions, your actions become your habits, your habits become your values,
your values become your destiny.
